UAE Team ADQ will officially become UAE Team L’IMAD from 1 August 2026, marking a new chapter in the team’s journey as it prepares to begin the Tour de France Femmes.
The name change follows the consolidation of ADQ into L’IMAD and reflects the continued evolution of a team that was established in the United Arab Emirates to advance women’s cycling at the highest level.
A new identity built on continued success
Over the past four years, the team has established itself among the elite of the UCI Women’s WorldTour, earning international recognition through consistent performances on the global stage.
Its achievements include victory at the Giro d’Italia Women, wins in some of cycling’s most prestigious Classics, stage victories at the Tour de France Femmes, national and continental championship titles, and a series of strong performances across the international racing calendar.
Long-term vision remains unchanged
Melissa Moncada, President of UAE Team L’IMAD, said:

Special jersey for Tour de France Femmes
While the team’s colours and race kit will remain unchanged for the rest of the season, UAE Team L’IMAD will introduce a special-edition jersey for the 2026 Tour de France Femmes, which begins in Switzerland on 1 August.
Inspired by the “Falcon of the Emirates,” the jersey symbolises vision, speed, precision, and leadership.
Continuing to grow women’s cycling
Alongside its success in competition, the team has continued to invest in the development of women’s cycling within the United Arab Emirates.
Through its development pathway, UAE Team L’IMAD has created opportunities for homegrown riders to progress and compete at the highest levels of the sport while contributing to the long-term growth of women’s cycling in the region.
