UAE Team ADQ has confirmed the renewal of its sponsorship agreement with International Holding Company (IHC), securing continued support for the women’s professional cycling team through 2029.
The renewed agreement reinforces a partnership that has been in place since the team’s launch in 2022. According to the team, IHC has continuously backed the vision behind UAE Team ADQ, contributing to the growth of one of the most ambitious long-term projects in international women’s cycling.
Built on shared values and long-term ambition, the extended collaboration reflects a mutual belief in sport as a catalyst for development, inclusion, and positive social impact. The renewal further strengthens a relationship rooted in trust, continuity, and a shared commitment to advancing women’s sport on the global stage.
UAE Team ADQ also acknowledged the continued support of Syed Basar Shueb, CEO, Managing Director and Board Member of IHC, recognising his leadership and belief in the project since its early foundations.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, International Holding Company is among the world’s leading holding groups, with a diversified portfolio spanning more than 1,000 subsidiaries across sectors including energy, healthcare, technology, real estate, industry, and financial services. The company’s strategy centres on sustainable growth, innovation, and long-term value creation, alongside initiatives with measurable economic and social impact.

Both organisations are aligned through a shared focus on excellence, sustainability, talent development, and women’s empowerment. These principles continue to guide the partnership, positioning sport as a platform capable of inspiring future generations and accelerating progress within women’s cycling worldwide.
Since the beginning of the collaboration, the partnership has supported athlete development, strengthened the team’s professional structure, and contributed to competitive success at the highest levels of international racing, while also playing a role in the broader global growth of women’s cycling.
Commenting on the renewal, Melissa Moncada, President of UAE Team ADQ, said:

This renewal through 2029 represents not only an important sign of continuity, but also a strong confirmation of the mutual trust and shared values that define our partnership. Together we have built solid foundations and achieved major results, and we look to the future with ambition, determination and the desire to keep growing, both on and off the bike.”
