Thousands expected to cycle past the Burj Khalifa and Museum of the Future on 2 November
One of Dubai’s most anticipated community fitness events is back – Dubai Ride 2025, presented by DP World, is gearing up to take over Sheikh Zayed Road on 2 November, 2025, for an unforgettable day of cycling, community, and city pride.
Now in its sixth edition, the event headlines the opening weekend of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), bringing together cyclists of all ages and abilities for a once-a-year chance to ride by the city’s most iconic landmarks, from the Museum of the Future and the Dubai Water Canal to the world’s tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa.
Dubai Ride (6:15am – 8:00am)
Participants can choose between two signature routes :
- 12km Sheikh Zayed Road Route; the ultimate city cycling experience, perfect for adults and seasoned riders.
- 4km Downtown Loop; a family-friendly route designed for all ages and abilities.
Speed Laps (5:00am – 6:00am)
For cyclists looking for an extra rush, Speed Laps returns this year, a high-adrenaline challenge reserved for advanced riders. Taking place on the 12km route, and will be held from (5:00am – 6:00am). It offers a rare chance to push your limits on closed city roads. Riders must maintain a minimum 30km/h pace, use race-spec bikes, and follow official marshals’ guidance. Registration for Speed Laps opens 6 October.
All participants will receive official bibs, available for collection at the Dubai Municipality 30×30 Fitness Village in Zabeel Park from 29 October to 1 November, the hub for running, cycling, and wellness throughout the DFC month.
Held under the theme of the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’, this year’s edition carries a deeper purpose, to unite residents and visitors through sport, health, and shared moments of pride.
