New Balance has officially opened its first-ever retail store in Lusail, Qatar, located at Place Vendôme. The new concept aims to shift the focus from products to people, creating a space where customers can connect, draw inspiration, and discover their personal style.
Designed with central seating areas, the store encourages community interaction. It features a curated selection of merchandise and visual storytelling that highlights the origins and creators behind specific products, showcasing New Balance’s unique position at the intersection of sport and culture. The diverse range of footwear and apparel is intended to appeal to both elite athletes and fashion enthusiasts alike.
“The opening of our store in Vendome marks a milestone moment for the brand, and it’s our first owned and operated store in Qatar,” said Stuart Henwood, Senior Director, Middle East, Africa and India at New Balance. He emphasized that Doha’s visionary spirit inspired the creation of a space where the community can feel inspired and confident in their style. Henwood also highlighted New Balance’s existing partnerships with Al Sadd, Aspire, and the Doha Marathon by Ooredoo, underscoring the brand’s commitment to Qatar’s vibrant sporting future. He expressed excitement about the store’s location in Place Vendôme, a prominent regional mall, and teased future store launches.

The new 267 sqm New Balance store, situated on the first floor of Place Vendôme, brings the brand’s renowned athletic style and innovation to one of Qatar’s most prestigious shopping destinations.
