Preparations are underway for the PIF Saudi Ladies International, as Golf Saudi’s ambassador line-up takes centre stage at the season-opening event of the Ladies European Tour calendar.
Set to take place at Riyadh Golf Club from 11-14 February, the tournament serves as the opening stop of the PIF Global Series and features a world-class international field competing for a USD 5 million prize fund. Among the headline names are Golf Saudi ambassadors led by world No. 5 Charley Hull.
The PIF Global Series provides a global platform for elite women golfers to compete alongside emerging talent at premier venues worldwide, with the 2026 calendar extending to cities including Las Vegas, London, Korea, and Shenzhen. Alongside competition, Golf Saudi ambassadors play an active role in grassroots engagement, participating in Go Golf clinics and on-site activities aimed at inspiring local amateurs and new players at every tour stop.

Charley Hull (England)
A multiple-time winner on the global stage, Hull returns to Riyadh as one of the most recognisable figures in women’s golf. The 29-year-old claimed the individual title at the Riyadh Series in 2024 and recorded top-10 finishes across the PIF Global Series last season, including strong performances in Riyadh and Houston.
Known for her focus on fitness and mental wellbeing, Hull attracted attention at the 2025 PIF Saudi Ladies International after sharing her goal of reducing her 5km run time to 20 minutes.
Hull said:
“Every time I return to Riyadh, I’m blown away by how much the game has grown. My preparation for the PIF Saudi Ladies International is about more than just golf; it’s about arriving as an athlete ready to perform on a world-class stage.
As a Golf Saudi ambassador, I want the next generation of young girls watching us at Riyadh Golf Club to see that with discipline and the right support, there are no limits. Being part of this journey where we see equal prize money is incredibly inspiring, and I’m proud to help show young girls what’s possible through the game. Every time I return to Riyadh, I’m blown away by how much the game has grown.”
“I haven’t yet got my PB down as I tore a ligament in my ankle in August, just as I was getting close to 20 minutes… I’ve only just started running again but I hope to get to sub 20 this year!”
The four-time LET winner arrives once again as a proven contender on Saudi soil.
Alison Lee (USA)
A two-time PIF Global Series individual winner, with titles in Sotogrande (2021) and Riyadh (2023), Lee returns to Riyadh Golf Club following her comeback appearance at the Aramco Houston Championship. The American, also a two-time Solheim Cup player, resumed competition in late 2025 after a maternity break and has spoken openly about balancing motherhood with elite performance.

Patty Tavatanakit (Thailand)
The 26-year-old Major champion and former PIF Saudi Ladies International winner returns to the venue where she claimed victory in 2024, aiming to add another title to her growing list of achievements.
Tavatanakit said:
“I feel good going into this week, and I’m super excited to get to Riyadh. This course and tournament have a special place in my heart, and I’m so lucky to count myself as a past champion. This event stands out on the calendar every year due to Golf Saudi’s incredible support of the athletes and of golf in general – we’re all looking forward to getting there for a great week!”
Carlota Ciganda (Spain)
An 11-time winner across the LPGA Tour and LET, the seven-time Solheim Cup player will be looking to improve on her last PIF Global Series appearance in Houston, where she finished tied second.

Marianne Skarpnord (Norway)
The Norwegian returns to Riyadh Golf Club following a busy 2025 season, demonstrating longevity at the elite level with victories dating back to 2009.
Skarpnord said:
“Women’s golf has changed massively since I started on the tour in 2005. Over the last decade, the game has grown enormously, and the standard today is completely different. Golf Saudi has played a massive part in that – they are raising the profile of the women’s game, strengthening the fields and creating opportunities for us that simply didn’t exist before.”
Muni “Lily” He (China)
One of the most popular figures in the women’s game, He finished tied eighth at the 2025 PIF Saudi Ladies International and arrives with growing momentum across the LPGA and LET.
Danielle Kang (USA)
The Major champion and six-time LPGA Tour winner returns to the PIF Global Series after a top-30 finish in Houston last season, continuing her comeback following injury and health challenges.
Olivia Cowan (Germany)
An ever-present across the 2025 PIF Global Series, Cowan recorded three top-20 finishes, including a fourth-place result in London, and will look to start her 2026 campaign strongly in Riyadh.
Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (France)
A two-time LET winner, including victory at the PIF Global Series event in Singapore in 2023, the 25-year-old begins her 2026 season in Saudi Arabia with ambitions of further success.
