A prominent group of Golf Saudi Ambassadors will join the field for the 2026 Aramco Korea Championship, alongside Major champions Sung Hyun Park and Jeongeun Lee6, who will lead the home challenge when the tournament returns to New Korea Country Club from October 8-11.
The ambassador line-up includes Marianne Skarpnord, Alison Lee, Danielle Kang, Carlota Ciganda, Anne Van Dam and Olivia Cowan, adding considerable international experience to the US$2 million championship.
Former Rolex World No.1 Park and 2019 U.S. Women’s Open champion Lee6 will be joined by rising South Korean player Dongeun Lee, following a breakout KLPGA Tour season in which she secured victory against established international players.
Japan’s Miyu Yamashita also joins the field, alongside French Ladies European Tour regular Vanessa Bouvet.
The latest additions strengthen a line-up that already includes Major champions, Solheim Cup players and Golf Saudi Ambassadors for the tournament’s first edition under its revamped four-day, 72-hole individual stroke play format.
Golf Saudi Ambassadors add experience to international field
A strong group of Golf Saudi Ambassadors will also compete at New Korea Country Club, bringing Major, Solheim Cup and Ladies European Tour experience to the 2026 field.
Five-time LET winner Marianne Skarpnord (NOR) leads the group alongside Alison Lee (USA), a Solheim Cup stalwart and two-time LET winner, and Danielle Kang (USA), a Major champion and six-time LPGA Tour winner.
They will be joined by Carlota Ciganda (ESP), a Solheim Cup winner, as well as Anne Van Dam (NED) and Olivia Cowan (GER).
Their presence strengthens Golf Saudi’s representation at the championship alongside a wider international field that includes Japan’s Miyu Yamashita and French LET regular Vanessa Bouvet.

New 72-hole format raises competitive stakes
Sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET) as part of the PIF Global Series, the 2026 Aramco Korea Championship has moved away from its previous format.
Players will now compete across four days and 72 holes of individual stroke play, with a US$2 million prize purse and Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings points available.
The format places greater emphasis on consistency across all four rounds, something Park expects to add another dimension to the competition.

Korean Major winners return to home galleries
For Park and Lee6, the championship also provides an opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd against an international field.
Park returns to New Korea Country Club after competing at the championship in 2025, while Lee6 will bring the experience that includes her U.S. Women’s Open title.
Lee6 expects the combination of the Korean galleries, New Korea Country Club and expanded format to make consistency particularly important.

Championship builds Saudi-Korea business connections
Alongside the competition, the Aramco Korea Championship will continue its broader commercial programme connecting Saudi Arabia and South Korea.
Golf Saudi positions the event as part of its continued investment in elite women’s sport, including prize funding, tournament infrastructure and high-performance competition environments.
The championship is being staged with official host partner KOLON Group. Tournament week will also feature executive networking forums, bilateral commerce panels and cultural tourism showcases.
These activities are intended to use the international sporting event as a platform for trade relationships, investment opportunities and cultural and tourism exchange between the two countries.
Tickets and tournament access
Both single-day and full-event passes are available for the championship. Regular shuttle services will also operate from Samseong Station, with the schedule due to be announced.
