Al Jazira Sports and Cultural Club has announced a three-year strategic partnership with New Balance, which will become the club’s official supplier of match, training, and travel kits.
The agreement was signed by Tariq Mohammed Al Muhairi, CEO of Al Jazira Club Group, and Stuart Henwood, Senior Director and General Manager, New Balance MEAI.
New Balance to equip Al Jazira teams
Under the partnership, New Balance will design and supply sportswear for Al Jazira Club’s teams, supporting athletes across local, regional, and international competitions.
The agreement covers the first football team, football academy, and the club’s Other Sports teams, extending the partnership across different levels of Al Jazira’s sporting structure.
Commenting on the agreement, Tariq Mohammed Al Muhairi stated:
“We believe that this partnership with New Balance will mark the beginning of a new phase of strategic collaboration and the nurturing of footballing and sporting talent at all levels, including the first football team, the football academy, and the Other Sports teams. This partnership will ensure that the needs of all teams are met in all local, regional, and international competitions, with the latest sportswear and footwear. Our partnership will support the first football team, the academy, and the team sports teams at Al Jazira Club.”
Al Muhairi added that New Balance was selected for its extensive experience in sport and its expertise in developing footwear, apparel, and accessories. He also highlighted the brand’s focus on quality, craftsmanship, innovation, and the use of modern technology in sports manufacturing.
Supporting football development in the region
The partnership comes as New Balance continues to expand its presence in football across the Middle East and the wider MEAI region.
