British rider Pfeiffer Georgi will join UAE Team L’IMAD from the 2027 season after signing a three-year contract with the team.
The 25-year-old arrives with eight seasons of professional experience and a strong record in one-day racing. A three-time British national champion, Georgi has also finished on the podium at Paris-Roubaix Femmes and claimed victory at Brugge-De Panne.
Her move to UAE Team L’IMAD marks the first team change of her professional career and the beginning of a new chapter as she looks to rediscover her best level and continue developing as a rider.
Georgi is ready for a new environment
After spending all eight years of her professional career with the same team, Picnic-PostNL, Georgi believes the timing is right for a change.
“I have been in the same team for my eight years as a professional and am excited to enter a new environment at this point in my career,” says Georgi. “I have gained a lot of experience and I am now looking to develop further as a rider.”
Georgi has followed UAE Team L’IMAD’s development in recent seasons. In particular, the team’s growing depth and results convinced her that it could provide the right environment for the next stage of her career.
“I have seen the development of the team over the last few years and the depth of success it’s had. I wanted to be in a place where I can reach my full potential and I believe UAE Team L’IMAD is the best place for that.”
A lifelong connection to cycling
Georgi grew up in a cycling family and first started riding at just four years old on the velodrome in London, following in the footsteps of her father, who also raced.
That early introduction eventually developed into a professional career with a particular focus on the Classics.
Short, steep climbs, cobbled roads and difficult weather conditions are among the characteristics that best suit Georgi. Paris-Roubaix, where she has already reached the podium, remains her favourite race.
“I love the Classics and think the nature of them, with short, punchy climbs, cobbles and bad weather, suits me well,” she explains. “I definitely have a passion for one-day races and my favourite race is Paris-Roubaix.”
Spring Classics among Georgi’s first targets
Joining UAE Team L’IMAD also brings a fresh set of ambitions. Initially, Georgi wants to settle into her new environment and develop strong relationships with her teammates.
From there, her attention will turn towards one of her strongest areas: the Spring Classics.
“I am really excited to get to know all the girls and first want to focus on fitting into the team. My main goals in the first part of the season will be the Spring Classics.”
However, Georgi also wants to expand her abilities beyond the one-day races where she has already established herself.
Improving her climbing will be one of her priorities over the coming years. Developing in that area could create more opportunities across different race profiles and help her become more competitive in longer stage races.
“I want to continue to improve my climbing ability to open up more opportunities in races and perform better in longer stage races.”
UAE Team L’IMAD backs Georgi’s long-term development
Melissa Moncada, President of UAE Team L’IMAD, said the team’s three-year commitment reflects its belief in Georgi’s potential and ability to return to the forefront of major races.

She is still young, but she has accumulated important experience and has shown that she has the strength, character and talent to compete for the biggest victories.

A new chapter from 2027
Georgi describes herself as driven and disciplined, with a focus on continually improving and becoming the best version of herself. UAE Team L’IMAD expects those qualities to contribute to the squad both on and off the bike.
Away from cycling, the British rider enjoys cooking and baking. She also has a passion for drawing portraits.
With her experience, Classics pedigree and ambition to develop further, Georgi will begin a new chapter with UAE Team L’IMAD in 2027. The three-year agreement gives her the opportunity to build on her strengths while developing new areas of her racing as the team targets the biggest events in women’s cycling.
