World-class women’s tennis returns to the UAE capital as the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open, presented by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, announces its fourth edition set to take place from 31 January to 7 February 2026 at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City.
Following a record-breaking 2025 edition that featured eight of the world’s top 20 players and drew thousands of fans, the 2026 tournament promises to level the experience UP even further cementing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for elite sport.
The Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open has quickly established itself as one of the most prestigious tournaments in women’s tennis. Featuring 28 singles players and 16 doubles teams, the WTA 500 event on the Hologic WTA Tour combines world-class competition with immersive fan experiences.
Building on last season’s success, the event will again showcase tennis excellence, following a thrilling 2025 finale where Olympic gold medallist Belinda Bencic captured her second Abu Dhabi title against rising American star Ashlyn Krueger, while Jelena Ostapenko and Ellen Perez claimed the doubles crown.
