UAE Team ADQ promotes Febe Jooris to WorldTour squad for 2026 and 2027

UAE Team ADQ has confirmed the promotion of Febe Jooris to its WorldTour roster for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, marking a major milestone for one of Belgium’s most promising young riders.

Born on 4 October 2004 in Deinze, the 21-year-old has already built an impressive résumé as a time-trial specialist, including a bronze medal in the Junior World Championships ITT and multiple national U23 time trial titles. Her ability to perform across mixed terrain has also positioned her as a rider to watch in the classics.

The 2025 season with the UAE Development Team proved pivotal in her progression.
“It was a year full of learning,” says Jooris. “Seeing how well the team works together made me realise this is the group I want to be part of in the years ahead.”

Alongside gaining experience in classics races with the WorldTour squad, Jooris continued to develop through a full programme with the Development Team, strengthening both her racing instincts and her connection with teammates.

Her step up to the WorldTour represents a significant moment in her career.

“I’m really grateful for this opportunity and I truly want to prove that I’m worth it,” she says.

Looking ahead to 2026, Jooris is focused on contributing across varied terrain, with a particular emphasis on the classics, while continuing to refine her time-trial performances.

“I feel very happy and blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of riders and staff,” she adds.

Melissa Moncada, President of UAE Team ADQ, said the promotion reflects both talent and long-term vision.

“We are proud to see Febe taking this step into the WorldTour. We strongly believe in her potential and are excited to see her contributions in the coming seasons. Our focus is on nurturing young talent and providing a supportive environment where they can thrive. Febe has shown the determination and teamwork that will serve her well at the highest level.”

The move further underlines UAE Team ADQ’s development pathway, which continues to guide young riders from emerging talent to the pinnacle of professional women’s cycling.
