With the largest prize purse on the Ladies European Tour, the PIF Saudi Ladies International will open the 2026 Ladies European Tour season at Riyadh Golf Club from February 11–14.
Backed by Golf Saudi, the season opener is the first of five marquee events on the PIF Global Series calendar. The tournament offers prize money parity with the PIF Saudi International, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s growing role in setting new commercial and competitive standards for elite women’s sport.
The event has attracted a world-class field featuring Major champions, Solheim Cup stars and 11 Golf Saudi Ambassadors. Among those returning is Singapore’s Shannon Tan, the 2025 LET Order of Merit winner, who makes her first competitive appearance since topping the season-long standings.
Building on the momentum of 2025, when Jeeno Thitikul claimed a landmark victory, the 2026 edition once again draws from the top tier of the women’s game. Golf Saudi Ambassadors leading the field include Patty Tavatanakit, Major champion and 2024 winner; Charley Hull, world No.5 and four-time LET winner; and Carlota Ciganda, a seven-time LET winner and Solheim Cup regular.
The field also features multiple Major champions including Céline Boutier, winner of the 2023 Amundi Evian Championship, and Danielle Kang, the 2017 Women’s PGA Championship champion, reinforcing the tournament’s status as one of the most significant stops on the global women’s golf calendar.
Beyond competition, the PIF Saudi Ladies International continues to position itself as a wider platform for participation and dialogue. Go Golf clinics will introduce hundreds of beginners to the sport, while public talks will explore the impact of golf on the Saudi economy and its alignment with Vision 2030.
By combining the biggest prize purse on the LET with long-term investment and global visibility, the tournament continues to raise expectations for what professional women’s golf can look like on the world stage.
